::piece of remembrance::

after two days of receiving unexplained notification of a parcel from anpost, i went to st james post office ( that's where we claim our parcels/packages) which is a pretty good walk from my house. as i stepped out from my apartment building, it was started to rain...but that did not stop me from completing my mission that day :)

that was my second tym of getting there. i still remember when i got my 1st parcel...

it was last year when i had to walk to the post office with my ankle got sprang. and i was laughing  when i got a packet of amplang! maybe because he knew i missed amplang so much so he sent me a packet all d way from tawau lol.

and that day, there were only two person that could send the parcel. either it's my mom or kak khai...

the moment the parcel is handled to me, i curled a smile to my ears...the feeling of being remembered is just so wonderful!

so i took pictures of the beautifully wrapped box and carefully opened the it...

my name is clearly written on the wrapper :)

the prezzie and the pic of the sender hehe
it soO me..dun u think so? thx to d giver :)

to the dearie giver, my heartiest thnx..tho we are thousand miles apart, ur remembrance never fails to touch me :)

so dun forget my next bday keh? hihi

::senyuman bidadari syurga::

Duhai Allah...
sungguh aku ingin sekali melihat Ibuku tersenyum dan tertawa bahagia,
kerana...

Jika Allah "menjemputku" terlebih dahulu.. dia menangis..

Saat apa pun dalam kehidupanku... Ibuku selalu menangis...

Duhai Ibu...
dengan cara apa aku bisa mendapatkan senyumanmu yang
lebih indah dari senyum bidadari syurga?

::TOSCE::

for my colleagues, this TOSCE thingy might be sound familiar to u. but lemme brief to those who are currently wondering what it is..

[N and feyt, it's not a food keh? :p ]

TOSCE stands for Team Objective Structural Clinical Examination. so that gives u a slight hint aite? it's basically a team comprised of 3-4 students, performing history taking and and medical physical examinations, to be assessed by an examiner ( or two, depending on the strictness of the examiner )

so why it's a nightmare to us? since it's based on "budi bicara" of the examiner, too many human factors might be involved. one might never be fairly assessed since every examiner has his/her own style. it really depends on how well u perform and also, how cooperative the patient is! some patient might give u a clue on what  disease that they are suffering from, and u can systematically work it out from there. but some are too mean not to even give u a slightest clue! again, it's based on your skills to dig out and find an answer!

so on 28th may, we had our TOSCE and i think it will be good to compile all the things that worth remembering later.

case 1
in waiting area

the previous team came out from the exam room with one of them was heavily sweating. can u imagine all of his face was wet with sweat and his face was pale. i wonder what the examiner and the patient did to him lol

us: was it hard?
john: seemed like the patient is okay but the student had respiratory distress
us: lol

case 2:
in the room, physical exam

examiner: can u please auscultate the patient?
student: ok
*explaining to the patient*
student: now im going to tap on my own finger and that would not be painful

examiner: i asked u to auscultate the patient...( ee budak ni paham ke x? )
student: oo im sorry. now im going to listen to ur chest ( sambil cover malu besar lol )

case 3:
in the room, physical exam

examiner: now i would like u to perform an examination on the face
[it was a heart failure case, so some GIT signs are irrelevant!]

student: she doesn't appear to be jaundiced, no kleiser fleischer ring [camana la ring tu bleh sesat dlm heart failure case? haih]

case 4:
in the room, history taking

student: so what brought u here?
patient: a car? lol

[ the right question will be "what problem brought u here today?]

case 5:
in the room, physical exam

examiner: now, i would like u to perform physical examination on the patient
student: okay *confidently walking towards the patient*
*squeezed the alcohol tube with all her heart. result: hands were smudged with alcohol and every eyes were on her clumsiness* but still she looked confident haha

case 6:
in the room, JVP examination

student: i cannot really see the JVP [ since the patient is a plump lady and she actually din really look for it! malas~ ]
examiner: okay. so what differentiate JVP and an artery
student: JVP is compressible, with multiple waves and u can see it but cnt compress it [ OMG, it's contraindicated with her previous statement!]

examiner and the team: *laughing at her*
student: *still confidently talking...like no one can stop her heh? haha*

and she got the name of " muka history taking" due to her unwavering confidence throughout :p

case 7
history taking on routine medical questions

student: so are u under any contraceptive pills?
patient: im 54 and menopause. in terms of that, im safe!
team: *laughing*

see how nervousness can put us in very witty situations? it's not that we din study for the big exams, it's just that our tongues were twisted being in the stressful atmosphere. plus, it also depends on ur luck! but thnx dude, because all the witty things, we laughed together in the room and sumhow decreased the level of tense.

here are some tips to reduce nervousness based on observations and experience:

  • be confident
  • be confident
  • be confident. believe that u have done all the necessary things to perform and there is only one shot not to be wasted. so prove to them!
  • take a deep breath in, all d way out and repeat that few times
  • surah al-insyirah, and all the dua that can keep u calm
  • practice a lot. only that will make smooth presentations
  • wear something that u r comfortable with. nice dress, descent make up will definitely do.
  • smile all the smile :)
  • and drink some water before u get in. due to symphatetic nervous system activation, ur mouth will b dry and may cause u startled in ur speech.
  • and remember, the examiner is there not to fail u, but to assess ur capability.

::my dowry is USD 9000!::

routine evening, i checked my fs msgs and i got a new msg about "hantaran" (dowry). well, it din excite me initially but not to discriminate any msgs from frenz, i opened it.

she sent a link of a survey that will be beneficial to mums out there to decide how much her daughter's dowry later hihi. click here for the survey :)

well, it pretty included all the aspects that an ideal wife shud have haha ( a guy created the survey, so basically he listed down all the criteria that he wanted for an ideal wife i guess). i have no idea of a girl with perfect score dowry is...but i have mine already...here u go:

Based on the matrimonial information you have supplied and considering prevailing economic conditions, your Hantaran would be $9,000

ehem2 so guys, my mum maybe ask for USD 9000 later. convert to RM it worth RM 29,299...such a nice no heh? hahaha

* ok mau smbg gelak dgn wada :p *

Episode 3
2nd June 2008

the sky that day din really share the excitement in us. we were having our fatty KFC ciken bfast in the room when it was starting to rain. we were praying very hard for the rain to stop after we finished but seemed like the weather didnt love us as much as we love him :p

the rain was not even a matter when it comes to disneyland! we intentionally chose monday to go to disney since we were expecting long queue on weekends. and that was a right decision.

we took RER line A and disney park is the last station in the line. i preferred to spend the one hour journey by compensating my insufficient sleep that i had last night. about one station to get there, everyone was freshly awake but as we peeked outside, shrug was heard; protesting our unrequited love towards the weather.

we got off the train with the excitement level geared up...but was then level down as the rain drops stroke our head. it was 11 am when when all the disney promises greeted us. the gloomy day din stop us from riding all the rides and walk from one land to another.

discovery land we started, then fantasy land with it's own magical charm. felt like we were living in a different world, totally...but the funny thing was that, as we stepped into the land of fantasy, there was one girl ( erm sepa la 2? :p ) was really excited to ride "it's a small world after all" [lemme tell u, it's d most boring ride as pple claimed]. she was so like no-one-gonna-stop-me-from-riding-the-boat hehe...so her frenz juz let her did it...the song "it's a small world after all" kept repeating itself, sumhow created annoyance in us lol

then we were so excited to see "merry go round" and eagerly lining up to ride the thingy. rain was till pouring down and it made my jeans wet half-down. the shoes? like i was walking in the water *sigh*. then, wada wif her like owez phrase:

"i was a deprived child. never ride such thing b4"

"so do i wada!" and everyone was laughing.

but being deprived as a child is really a momentum 4 us to be what we wanna be.

captain jack sparrow's ship

then we headed to adventureland where we met captain jack sparrow and visited his ship. and it was 3pm when we finished exploring the whole land. we were really out of energy when we realized we havent had our lunch. so everyone was wondering where hafsah is since our spicy ciken filled zinger burgers were with her! and the image of zinger burger kept playing in our head...that is what happened when u r starving hehe. and that really reminded me of how the crave of harold and kumar for white castle burger put em into trouble and made their life upside down.

so we met at toad hall [what a cute name hihi] and had our very late lunch together. and the yummi-ness of the food doubled when u r really starving :p. right after that, we continued our exploration in this park as we were saving the walt disney studios for tomorrow.

eventho the weather din really cooperate, we had fun with our very own way tho. and one thing that we noticed: all the rides' person-in-charge are all hawt! we were thinking that handsome-ness is a requirement to be part of the team since hawt guys were everywhere! hihi

and we were all agreed that the most thrilled ride was mountain-space mission! that was our first ride of the day, enuf to make one of us sick. never letting the sweet memory wasted just like that, i printed our picture on the ride wif sum1's scared face hihi. kenangan bha, teda unsur sabotaj :p

space mountain mission 2

we were making our way out of the park when we can hear clearly an announcement that the park is about to close and the voice was really hope to see us soon. so not to make him dissapointed, we are coming again tomorrow! hihi

that day we had our dinner in KFC again..seemed like we can eat ciken everyday without failing. the table witnessed how hawt the conversation was, deliberating the issue of the world, politics, love, even our own personality. so we got to a conclusion that:

to know a person better is to travel with him/her

i kinda agree with the statement. i mean we might be living and sitting in d same lecture hall everyday, but u'll never know how nice, warm hearted, selfish, fussy, patient, etc they are until u got the chance to be really close to 'em [one of the ways is to travel wif 'em].  the true colors only show in certain situation as i would say :)

the discussion din end on the table alone, but we rather extended it and was even gettin hotter with more true color revelations ngee~ [ so it gave me some sort of ideas on how to be with these girls again in near future]

see you again in next post. now the loneliness is imprisoning me again without me inviting it. bye mun, safe journey to reading... c ya again sometime in the future iAllah.

::love sweet love::

it was a lovely morning, i decided to take mun, a saviour of my loneliness that imprisoned me lately to St. Stepehen's Green Park. as boring as it might sound, yet, it's dublin. where else would you take ur visitors around during their stay?

the answer will be the same: dublin castle, st stephen's green park, book of kells, malahide castle, bray, saphire?, TCD, RCSI [got pool tables bha, can play for free :p]

however, dun get me wrong. there is no shortage of beautiful places in ireland. scenic spots are waiting to be endeared with all heart...with one condition: get ready to have a "bum-deflating" session as it might take hours to get to the places : cliff of moher in galway and giant causeway in belfast. but it's worth all the sweat tho. the stunningly beautiful scenery captures ur eyes instantly and dun be surprised if u feel a strong reluctance of goin back lol

as we walked along the path, mun was busy capturing pictures of the flowers. so did me. when u live here, sumtyms u forgot to appreciate what nature has to offer you. i have been here thousand times but seldom i got so excited with the flowers like i felt today :p

so for nature lovers, this is for u...arent they beautiful?

but what captured my eyes more than anything was this:

it was an old couple, still as sweet as they are. i went "aahh thats sweet" every time i saw any old couple walking together, with hands perfectly fit into each other's, like they are goin to do that forever.

to have a happy marriage, to be passionately in love everyday with your life partner, to be appreciated with the least thing that u could do, and most importantly, be part of ur partner's life to face all the ups and downs of what life throws to u...am i too greedy wishing all that?or am i living in my ideal world?

yeah i know life's not all sweet...but i believe in synergism. two is stronger than one.

i wish for sum1 who loves me as what i am until the end of time, even when:
  • the mastia are kendur,
  • my face is full with fine lines and even botox couldnt offer any more help :p
  • my eyes could not capture his handsome-ness as good as before
  • my feet are no longer as strong to keep him company to our fav spot
  • my hands are no longer as strong to cook his fav dish [if it turns that he likes my cooking la :p]
  • (d list goes on...u guys will b freak out if i were to put everything here lol)
i know im not at the best position to talk about love, neither i know best. i was a failure myself.

till then, i rest my case and u r free to leave ur comments :)

::catatan kota paris::

Episode 2
1st June 2008

*the desire to write flew to nowhere kingdom few days back. so i was at home counting house mites, flee, etc to kill time*

paris: dawn. i woke up sluggishly. "o kamon jamiey, we are in paris, no time for extra sleep" i told myself. so i got myself ready and i put my red dress on. last night, i told everyone to wear something nice today  as we r goin to take lotsa pictures and i wanted everyone to look at her best :p

hafsah since last night was very curious with which one shud her put on. wada in the other hand, had her dresses for 4 days ready to be put on and so did hana. travelling during summer is an advantage because we girls can don colorful dresses without us need a chunky bulky, dull winter coat covering our inner beauty :p

after having a heavy bfast, we walked to the les gressilons train station. while walking in a line, with all of sudden...

"we looked like charlie's angels!" laughter burst in the fresh morning air.

yeah we have self-obsession syndrome n we knew it :p. and because of that, one of us was nearly stepped on faeces that according to hana: it looked like a "cake".

that was the funniest thing i have ever heard since last few days! omg, i'll be extra careful when hana offers me a cake after this lol

we reached the station and once again, the same problem we faced last night: where do we get the ticket from?

long we stood in front of the ticketing machine. pressing all the buttons that are press-able. but yeah, to no avail. one lady from london was in d same situation so we put all 5 heads together to reach a solution. our mission impossible 2 was then joined by a local lady and her son. eventho she cnt converse in english, she tried her best to help us. so did her son. his green eyes blinked innocently while trying explaining to us how can we get to eiffel tower. merci~

after wasting about 15 mins just to get the tickets from the estupido machine ( and made us missed 2 trains) we decided to just get ourselves into the station since the gate is widely open (because it was sunday!). the local lady promised us to explain to the officer in case there is an inspection in the train later. so we agreed! so 7 of us were partners in crime lol ( did i mention that our horns grew longer in paris? )

before getting off the train, we thanked our partners in crime and made our way to the vending machine illegally tru the same gate that hana used last night. like we care about pple who were looking at us with weird expressions? nay, we were not goin to meet this pple again...so lets just do it! we bought mobilis ticket for zone 1 and 2 and we were free to hop on and off the train as we please for that day. so, this covered the fare this morning ok? basically, the crime did not happen :p

and our 1st destination was La defense, a modern area in paris:

kisah cinta "yg di kejar x dpt, yg di kendong keciciran" :p

me and my gurls~

click here for more photos in La Defense

then we went to sacre coeur, ( click to diverse ur general knowledge :p )

that evening, we took a train to arc de triomphe, another significant landmark of city of light, paris. here is the best shot of me :p

see how dull the building is?

but not when im in! :p

we rushed to the next destination later that evening to a-must-visit attraction in paris: eiffel tower ( aka tour eiffel in french). i remembered watching a documentary on this tower few months back at home and i was excitedly told my mom that i'll be going there one day...

and guess what my mom said?

"ko kan mmg suka kasi hbs duit..." no one knows me inside out but u maa :p

tbantut anganku2 tym tu haha. mom, i was there! see, i spent few hundred euro just to get there and the meaning of fulfilling dreams worth more than that maa. i wished i could share all this sweet moments with my loved ones...all of u! and to u-know-who-u-r, no eiffel tower, but i do have lotsa of eiffel tower pictures :p

since u were not there, look at this photos keh? taken just 4 u :p

* wishing u were here :p *

eiffel alone, we spent almost two hours taking pictures and embracing the beautiful evening in the park nearby. my friends could not stop complaining why she din feel romantic at all haha.

"because we got stucked here, 4 heartless girls! all kayu "

"plus, we are all exhausted after 7 hours of walking. non-stop lg tu!"

haha i bet they were right! d definition of romanticism itself is very subjective. i mean, some cherish this besi buruk as romantic, so what? so girls, we are here not to complain, but to cherish every moment :). im afraid that we r not coming again to this place huhu

then, we headed to musee de lourve, where the well-known The Da Vinci Code film was shot. i attempted to watch the movie 3 times but every time i was "watching" d movie, i'll end up in the world of wonderland haha. but two thumbs up 4 d book! to share the feelings of being there, have a look on these pic :)

in front of the smaller pyramid

7 pm, we decided to go to place de clichy, where according to kak idza, we can find KFC. and it's halal! omg, the last time i ate kfc was last summer when my uncle generously took me to the restaurant and he said i can eat all i can. muehehe siap tapau lg :p.

as we climbed the stairs out of the train station, my olfactory receptors and amygdala were stimulated by the strong smell that i recognised as the irresistible smell of KFC cikens! and my parasympathetic system activated my salivary glands to secrete saliva. omg, the temptation of KFC was so strong and our eyes were avidly scanning around to find where did the smell come from.

scanning...20% complete....

50% complete...

100%!

found! KFC restaurant. mission accomplished!

we felt enlivened! the sweat and exhaustion that withered us just now were blown away by the cold wind of paris. running excitedly towards the restaurant, we ordered ourselves one bucket of cikens..nah gurls, finish em all! haha.

we were "melantaking", ignoring pple around us. except one of us...her eyes were caught by handsome pak A i heard? sorry but the cikens were more tempting than other hawt guys around that time :p

like starved people from africa who can barely find food to eat, we finished the ciken in no time :p
bukti kerakusan 4 manusia kerdil :p

"gendang gendut tali kecapi kenyang perut sng hati" as d saying goes. packing zinger burgers for lunch tomorrow, we took metro to go back to our hotel and on our way, our eyes once again captured beautiful scenery of this city: sunset!

eventho my camera could not capture every beautiful moment as good as my eyes, i am grateful that this gadget so called camera was invented.

and if the snatcher was to grab my belongings, please take my wallet or hp instead of my camera because it has all the sweet memory in it (or at least gimme the memory card before u take the cam from me :p)...and for the memory, we invested hundreds euro eventho it means having our monthly expense reduced...

that night we had good sleep and tomorrow will bring more joy because we r going to disneyland: the happiest place on earth! ( as what the disney characters campaigned )

see u in the next post: episode 3 :)

tq 4 reading word by word.

for now: free hugs from me! take care :-*

Tuesday 10 June 2008

::haroLd n kumar: escape from guantanamO baY::

so me and dilah: we-have-nothing-to-do duo decided to watch this muvie yesterday. she was really excited to have a popcorn session on these since last week, so i promised her to watch it when i got back from my cuci mata session in paris. and to complete the clan, i invited wada to join us.

the show started at 430 pm after we grabbed an extra large popcorn and a giant coke. click here for the synopsis

as we got out of the cinema, the triplet screamed almost spontaneously, simultaneously...

"lucah dowh!" and we laughed out loud

no wonder the screening of this film is prohibited in msia. so many "anatomy parts revelations" and the censored words can be heard thruout the 110 mins in length movie.

and this movie is rated as 16 where sex and the city can only be comfortable with the rating of 15a. meaning the movie beats SATC the movie! o ya im speaking in terms of XXX rating lol

one thing that worth taken from the movie is when the "george w bush" character said this:

"you dont have to trust your government to b a good citizen. trust ur country!"

ouch it hit me hard on my head.that's absolutely dem true! now i can feel the rush of patriotism in my blood haha

and i like the character of harold. hez smart, cute, sweet and most importantly, hez romantic lol

so for those who r considering in watching this movie, i dun think this muvie shud top ur list. it's funny but not up to the level that can amuse u till u laugh with tears!

i enjoyed my popcorn session wif my my girlfriends tho. right after that, we went for window shopping and we were planning a party where all of us can don a hot chic dress, thick make up on with matching accessories...not a bad idea at all heh? :p

and today, i would like to announce to the world that for the 1st tym in my life, i meet delima! live! here she goes...
onion bha ni..wada tipu aku kan?:p

omg who knows that i met this fruit at the age of 20?i guess better late than never :p. before this, i only can put that in literature to describe a beautiful girl with "bibir merekah bak delima"...and that day i got to see them!

we were walking together to get home and after saying good bye to dilah, me and wada headed to our skool...since we have nothing to do, we decided to polish our pooling skills. who says i dun have life? i do! haha. not to show off, but after few months of not playing, i won the game *grinning*

here are some pictures taken in the college. since we can hardly see people around ( it's summer hols, wut do u expect? ) felt like the entire college was ours haha

drummer wannabe... i will b more than happy to have this as my bday prezzie N :p

her, singing "teenagers" song half-heartedly :p

::catatan kota paris::

Episode 1
31st may 2008

after i had lunch with housemates, i rushed to get myself ready. after a very long wait, finally it's here...self-rewarding time ngee~. after a very stressful exams week, i think it's time to get off to somewhere scenic and have my mind relaxed :)

i'll be heading to paris today! the city of LOVE as people said. how far the truth is? me myself not sure... but the question will be answered after i got there and have it in front of my very own eyes, cornea and retina and may my cortex agrees with the claim made by the majority :p

i boarded 16a bus and it took me about 1 hour to reach dublin airport. and i was almost got burned in the bus. the scorching heat of the sun was enuf to burn my readily tanned skin *sigh*. me and hafsah that were in the same bus got off eagerly as the bus stopped in front of the arrival hall.

i met wada, my travel mate for the next 4 days. we checked in while waiting for hana, the last person to join this trip. then we had some food at McD just in case we dun get a chance to have our dinner tonite. in traveling, we could not expect what will happen aite? so having ur stomach full is always a good idea lol

we took off by ryanair FR24 at 1800 heading to beauvis airport, paris. i chose to sit at the front part of the plane and a family next to my seat greeted me with smiles. and the baby is so cute! but, i think it's not only me who think that hez cute. he thought of the same too towards me lol. i could not sleep when the baby started to cry and attracted everyones' attention. i was so sleepy and tired... thnx to my last minute packing! i din get any chance to get a good rest after the xms and everyday went by with so many things to settle. and now im in a plane, hoping to have a short nap but this baby just din allow me. so i woke up and whenever i got the baby's attention, i tried to amuse him and he will chuckle. so both parties were happy huh? :D

after 3 hours of flying and crossing geographic borders, we landed safely. we bought our ticket to paris city centre from the counter. the one hour journey cost us 13 euro. i paid 2 euro for the same duration of journey in dublin!

and the bus slowly left the airport heading to paer-ghih (paris). while sitting in the bus and having a short session of gossiping, we flipped over a french dictionary to find essential words to survive in paris for the next few days. we laughed at each other at the moment we were trying to pronounce the words. it's tongue twisting language lol. the way it's spelled is different from the way we pronounce it. like spanish (aka catalan, a slang) and italian languages, we can directly guess the pronunciation from the spelling but not french!

frustrated of the fact that our malay tongue failed to pronounce it well, we decided to take 40 wink. but my failure reminded me of my english teacher's saying back to standard 5:

"lidah belacan would not be able to say english words as well as lidah keju" if u get what she meant?

so called belacan. imagine ur tongue is lidah belacan lol

now, imagine lidah keju haha

i always have this kinda funny things stucked in my mind. maybe u r right teacher! i let myself strolling over my past before i took off to the land of wonderland. hopefully when i woke up, i will be arriving in the city and paris will greet us with its enormous charming iconic landmarks and stunningly vibrant lights :). something like this:

we arrived at our destination at 10 pm and the bus driver showed us the way to the nearest metro station. dragging our big baggage (looking at the bags, seems like we'll be having one month vacation!), we walked behind a group of tourists assuming that they will take us to the right place lol

the "M" (means metro, the main transportation in this city) sign was enuf to leave us feel relieved. from our research on the net, the last train to our hotel is at 11 pm so we have an ample time to catch the train. but life's not that easy!

standing at the counter to purchase tickets, we were puzzled with what the ticketing guy was talking about. so wada showed him the map that she printed at home, circling our destination: les gresillons. so not only us got puzzled huh? he was trying to explain to us how we can get there...one person was speaking in french and another in english. can u imagine how did it look like? like a chicken and a cat were trying to communicate lol

"other side"
"cross"
"walk"

that were what we got from his explanation. o merci!

i appreciate his effort to make us understood. and he was recalling his english vocab to ensure that we got what he said. so that was not the right station to get the genevilliers. we need to get to the other side of the road and off we go...

dragging the bags in d middle of the night, in a very unfamiliar city was an experience. it's not easy to get lost in this city i guess. as long as u r aware of the sign boards, u'll b ok. first, we allowed our instinct to lead the way and it din let us down. we arrived at porte mallot station where we could catch the train to les gresillons via M1.

i shud say that all 4 us, even look small and cute in size, but we r super girls! imagine we had to carry our big heavy bags up and down a long flight of stairs and none of us complained! bravo gurls!!! so funny that when we got in front of the machine where we shud introduce our tickets, we realized that we din have any! lol. we thought that there will be a machine near the entrance but we were totally wrong.

so me and hana went downstairs where we were first got into the station and tried to find any machine to buy tickets. again, fail. looking at my watch, i was afraid that we could not catch the last train. and sadly, there were no one to ask around. we checked every possible places that they could put the machine but to no avail.

one couple was our saviour. they showed us the vending machine and thank god, the machine has english version lol. so we bought 4 single journey tickets. we ran to the place where wada and hafsah were waiting 4 us. so we got ourselves into the waiting area and guess what else this time? hana's ticket was rejected and she couldnt enter!

this is when evil thought is needed. first was hana's luggage to illegally cross the machine. then hana...we asked her to go in thru a small gap between the gate. and she did it! this is an advantage of being cute lol

it was quarter past 11 pm when the train arrived and we boarded it, with the hope that everything will be fine after this. 4 stations had been passed, and there we go. we arrived at the small station with only 4 of us in the scene. the cold atmosphere din break our determination to find our way to the hotel. we asked 3 men who were passing by to ensure that we were on the right track. again, it was a cat and chicken scene! lol

we were happy when we saw formulae 1 hotel sign on the building. we walked into the hotel and a man in his late 20s greeted us. i showed him the reservation email and that made things smoother.

he was trying to explain that the room is not en-suite. i looked my frenz wondering what he was just saying. we laughed and he was laughing too.

he  was scratching all over his body acting like he is showering.

"o towel u mean?" i gave a wild guess

so i flipped the dictionary and tried to find the word for towel in french.

another fren gave a suggestion.."shower?"

and he nodded happily. his acting finally was recognized! we laughed out loud. from there we could create the story line that he was trying to say that the rooms are not ensuite. it's okay because we knew it b4 we got here :)

i chose to be in room 328 with hafsah and to get access into the room, we were provided with codes. no more keys, no more key-misplacing cases :p. 642437 was d code hehe

and that nite we were sleeping tightly due to tiring journey...tomorrow, we'll be waking up in the very early in the morning to explore this city of 3 million visitors per year

and luckily, we had our dinner at 5pm today. eventho my stomach was actively secreting acids, nothing beat my tiredness. i slept, ignoring my tummy which aggressively asked for something to digest that night. no worries tummy, i'll give u yummy  heavy bfast tomorrow :)

and we spent our first night in paris with "sound" sleep zzzZZZ
