so everyone donned the best tux and the best dress that they have in the closet. or grabbed it from the nearest shopping mall to attend this so called "Chocolate Ball" brought to you by Carribean African Society. this annual glamorous night featuring "Passion for Fashion" in conjunction with the world's AIDS day was held to raise fund for AidAfrican Organisation, a charity body that is currently helping the African children that are suffering from AIDS.

the event started at 730pm, even-though it was scheduled at 630pm. haih sempat cair make up!

this was what i did while waiting for the reception to be opened hihi

first event was RED CARPET!

then, we took our seats. we chose to sit in second row so we can have a better view of the models later. kerana itu adalah satu-satunya peluang untuk melihat rakan sekelas sendiri memperagakan baju beraneka fesyen tajaan dundrum, kami tidak ragu untuk berada di hadapan sekali. o maksud saya bukan VIP seating kerana seating-seating itu telah di conquer oleh perempuan-perempuan yang super kaya bertudung hitam berbau minyak atar dan memilki wardrobe ajaib yang menghasilkan baju, kasut dan handbag branded setiap hari.

second part of the event was my favourite. makan time! :D

so we helped ourselves with the luxurious chocolate fountain. u choose what u would like to have with the silky smooth flowing chocolate: cream puff (we finished one bowl of these!), strawberries ( reminded me of datuk's wifey), toffees, pineapples, or marshmallows. so our pre-emptied stomachs were full with chocolate that night. enough said, we were truly had chocolate in our veins instead of blood! ( ok im exaggerating)

too full with the chocolates and chocolates and chocolates, the cakes failed to seduce us. so we took out seat again after the MC announced that the event was about to begin.

then, the most awaited event: runway divas modeling the latest design of famous brands. fully sponsored by dundrum.

at first we were so excited commenting this and that and we just could not get enough of it. well, when tyra banks met the ANTM cronies, u can expect this :D

and when the male models came out, the audience started to scream hysterically. OMG!

"macam bangla" azmi said.

"handsome lagi bangla jual kain di tempatku!" i replied.

"bagus aku yang jadi model" si perasan said.

the boys failed to make us drool over em. lol. tapi ada yang saya ingin kongsi bersama kamu. sebaik sahaja model -model lelaki itu memperagakan pakaian mereka, kelihatan sekumpulan lelaki berdiri sambil bertepuk tangan. wah sungguh gembira dan bersemangat mereka. mungkin agak pelik kerana kami golongan perempuan tidaklah begitu tertarik dengan lelaki-lelaki itu. tidak tertarik langsung barangkali. adakah kami abnormal? maka, ketahuanlah mereka itu golongan MSM ( sila google selepas ini ya?)

in the end of the show, the guy with the most unique look, some claimed he's handsome ( sorry, i beg to differ) was announced as the winner. he got contract with first choice modeling agency. cool? yeah. it was cool. 

the event ended at 10.30 pm and i rushed to catch the 11.15 bus from eden quay. walking in the city centre along o'connel street (jauh ok?), with a bright red dress matched with blood red heels was enough to make me feel like diva! ok ok minus the one degree celsius coldness. next time, i should be wearing exposing heels like this so i can feel the coldness of dublin right on my bare skin again! what a good choice jamiey!

after all, it was a night to remember. thanks to jiah, sarah, safwan and all the girls who made the event even more wonderful. last but not least, my date for the night, azmi. semangat tek beli tie? lol. thank you!
